I began my residency at the Pompgemaal by exploring how the sea might shape our physical and mental experience. I interviewed several local residents and created a film exploring the different ways people relate to and perceive the sea. Alongside this, I reflected on my own relationship with the sea. At the end of the three-month period, I presented the film and a performance at the Pompgemaal.
