LAND INZICHT ( 2014)
As part of the Ring Biennale in Haarlemmermeer / Kunstfort Vijfhuizen & Festival Karavaan 2015: 30’
Land Inzicht takes place at a crossroads in the landscape of Haarlemmermeer, where the collision of different layers of time can be experienced: where fields and farmland lie alongside the N205, Schiphol is visible in the distance, and the Floriade grounds and the Geniedijk can be seen from the site.
The audience is invited to enter the landscape and given a small object from the past to hold. In an encounter with two performers, they are drawn into the tension between past and present, presence and absence, gaining insight into the land that surrounds them and the ground beneath their feet.
