In the performance, an elderly woman, an asylum seeker, and a lost twenty-something stand on the threshold between life and death. Time seems to come to a standstill. WEG shows how these three different lives intersect—lives that appear to have little in common, yet are connected by a secret longing for death and an awareness of the fragility of life.

Through video projections, their respective living environments are shown: the squatted apartment of the twenty-something, the room of the elderly woman, and the room of the asylum seeker in the asylum centre. Concept and texts are based on interviews with people in similar situations and on the euthanasia of a close friend.
