A journey through time with seven performers
Dialoog met een beeld II took place at the Poort van Constant, designed by Constant Nieuwenhuys. In 1963, Constant was commissioned by the City of Amsterdam to design an entrance gate for the new Ookmeer sports complex in Nieuw-West.
I developed a performance centred on wandering and the desire for the creative, playful human being. The audience wanders through the sculpture, with Nieuw-West as its backdrop, and is invited to reflect on how they relate to these themes themselves.
